M.i. gaat het er hier om dat de zaak op de rol wordt gezet voor behandeling op een later tijdstip in verband met een nog in te dienen verklaring (of wellicht ook: aanvullende documenten/bewijsmaterialen) door eiser.

Misschien in dat geval "adjourned and entered on the cause list (...)" gebruiken? Zie ook onderstaande links.
PS. Een zaak kan meerdere malen op de 'cause list' voorkomen alnaargelang het verloop van de behandeling van deze zaak. De 'cause list' wordt op wekelijkse en dagelijkse basis opgesteld.

Asker: Hartelijk bedankt. Heel nuttig. Alleen vraag in me af of het hier gaat om "entering". Ik moet zeggen dat het hier gaat om een verstekvonnis. (Gedaagde afwezig) M.a.w., zou de zaak op dat punt niet reeds op de rol zijn geplaatst? (Leek aan heet woord.)
