Law/Patents - Law (general) / Wetboek van Burgerlijke Rechtsvordering ont(k)leed
Dutch term or phrase: ontkleden
Titel van een boek dat ik heb vertaald als The Code of Civil Procedure analysed and dismantled.

Het gaat om het woord 'ontkleden' - is dismantled hier de juiste vertaling?

demystify
Explanation:
in this specific context; demistify means 'Make (a difficult subject) clearer and easier to understand' (Oxford dico), or figuratively to in strip away the archaic and obscure terminology to reveal the actual meaning

You could also say 'analysed and clarified'.

I would expect (or at least hope) that the author(s) explain their objectives in a foreword or the like, which could help you understand what they meant with the title.
