Dutch to English translations [PRO] Law/Patents - Law (general) | | Dutch term or phrase: Akte van berusting | | IATE gives 'waiver of (all) remedies' for this. However, this does not seem appropriate in the context. The small doc I am translating is about the final court decision to grant two people a divorce and 'akte van berusting' is the heading. Could this be translated with Decree Absolute, perhaps? |

| | waiver of appeal | Explanation: Explanation:
Please see the websites cited (one Dutch, one UK). The Dutch Akte van Berusting is a document signed by both parties to a divorce in the case where a consent order is being applied for and which submits the process to the jurisdiction of the Court and debars appeal by either party after the decision of the Court. I am unaware of an equivalent document in UK proceedings.
