Dutch term or phrase: begunstigingstermijn
Is this what we call a grace period?
The document itself states that:

De begunstigingstermijn is de termijn waarbinnen de onderneming gelast wordt alsnog de gevraagde gegevens te verstrekken.

This is the document I am translating:

Many thanks to all of you. I went with this solution in the end having found some further definitions of grace period. I wanted to ensure that the element of an extended, additional period was conveyed.

submission period

Explanation:
Actually this should be the submission period as it is not money (that would otherwise be the remittance period)

Notes to answerer
Asker: Leonard, did your copy of Jurlex actually give the term begunstigingstermijn with the explanation as above? If so, yours must be a more recent version than mine.

neutral  Peter van der Hoek: Doesn't a grace period always include money? Thanks for enlightening me, Leonard! Appreciate it.

-> A grace period can also be a period beyond a specified deadline to file an application or submit additional data. However, "grace period" may not be as specific as "begunstigingstermijn," which is I think why Juridisch Lexicon translates it with an expln.

agree  Kitty Brussaard: I tend to agree with you :-) See also my reference comment.

-> Thanks, Kitty, also for the reference material.

agree  Textpertise: (a) Grace period does not only relate to money. (b) Grace and gunst are similar concepts whereas submission as a word is not related.

window deadline

Explanation:
Pref. not window period which has unfortunate infection incubation overtones.

If it were a patent or land registration process, then 'priority period'.

Reference information:
Hieronder een voorbeeld van het gebruik van de term 'grace period' in een vergelijkbare context (i.e. verzameling van statistische gegevens / aanlevering van gegevens door bedrijven).

The Commissioner of Insurance has approved data quality incentive programs to encourage the accurate and timely reporting of unit statistical data and aggregate financial data. By imposing fines for data errors and late reporting, both programs outlined below, in effect, transfer a portion of the data correction costs from the WCRIB of Massachusetts to those companies responsible for the errors.

The Financial Data Call Package specifies dates by which various aggregate financial data calls are due. Under the Massachusetts Workers' Compensation Data Quality Incentive Program For Aggregate Financial Data, companies will be allowed a ten-day grace period for submission of data, and then will be fined for each day that data is overdue. Companies will also be fined for certain basic and actuarial errors.
