Dutch term or phrase: in en door [..] vergadering [..] gemachtigd
I am working on a deed of amendment to the articles of association.

I have this phrase: Hij, comparant, is in en door gemelde vergadering en het bestuur van de vennootschap gemachtigd..

I've written 'in and by the meeting', but it doesn't sound right.

Explanation:
[board of directors] authorised him, the person appearing [before me]. I don't think you need to worry too much about the "is in en door". English is more pragmatic and often leaves out the obvious.
