I think 'kolom' here refers to an industry segment. Hence 'animal food segment'. If the text is about pets/pet food, the correct translation would be 'pet food segment'.

agree  Allison Klein: it's normally not referred to as animal food, but as pet food unless it's for agriculture, then it's "....feed" (based on my 15 years' experience in pet industry)

You can add 'animal', but it is left to your choice (feedingstuff already implies food for animals)
