Force field analysis
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Jump to: navigation, search

Force field analysis is an influential development in the field of social science. It provides a framework for looking at the factors (forces) that influence a situation, originally social situations. It looks at forces that are either driving movement toward a goal (helping forces) or blocking movement toward a goal (hindering forces). The principle, developed by Kurt Lewin, is a significant contribution to the fields of social science, psychology, social psychology, organizational development, process management, and change management.

agree  Textpertise: Writeaway, why don't you give this as a proper answer to the question instead of a reference comment? That way it can become a glossary entry in due course.

-> because it's just a question of looking it up, not the type of question that requires individual thought and input. Asker can close the question and enter the term in the glossary his/herself.
agree  Kitty Brussaard: With Textpertise. / Answering the question while voting 'non-PRO' at the same time is IMO the 'standard' procedure in such cases. / True, I was referring to what IMO is a common rather than a formalised procedure (hence 'standard' between quotes).

-> see my reply to Textpertise/non-pro also means it's easily or readily findable, not a difficult question to solve. I never heard of the standard procedure you mention. Kudoz is for helping and that's what I've done.shown the translation + an explanation
agree  Els Spin: But I am with Textpertise and Kitty as far as the procedure goes. Besides, voting non-pro is stating the obvious: BvdGlind isn't a translator, which is clearly indicated in de Kudoz questions overview.
