Dutch term or phrase: Rijdbare schade
Hello, this is actually not a work-related question. My father is buying a car in the Netherlands via the Internet and he found this phrase in a description of a vehicle he does not quite understand. We know that 'schade' is damage, but we're unable to get the first bit. This is of course related to cars. Could you please help? Thank you.

Explanation:
Rather strange expression, and bad Dutch IMHO. I think the intended meaning may be that the vehicle is damaged, but that you can still drive it.

agree  Neil Cross: Yeah, I should have mentioned that "drivable damage" is, like the Dutch original, grammatically incorrect: it's the car that's drivable, not the damage!

-> Well, in a sense, I suppose the damage drives around with the car too ;-) Thanks, Neil!
