- Opnieuw werd getracht de wond (i.e. exposed bone in the lower jaw caused by osteonecrosis) te sluiten, eerst met een *gesteelde wanglap*;
- Afb. 2. *Gesteelde wanglap* om het botdefect te bedekken na verwijdering van necrotisch bot.
- Afb. 3. Geëxposeerd kaakbot 6 weken na bedekking door de *gesteelde wanglap*.

First tried to close the wound using a cheek graft (flap of skin).
This is my understanding of what was carried out. No evidence to support it though. |
