Explanation: a rather more knowledgeable source than me came up with the following neat division, which I at least wouldn't like to disagree with :
Ambulante behandeling = Ambulant treatment = counseling, drug
advice sessions etc
Ambulante begeleiding = Ambulant intervention = providing the
public with information
B-wonen = Assisted living = supervised care community
The usual term for B would be "begeleid", although begeleidend is not uncommon either. My guess is they are synonimous, but if anyone knows differently do please post!
Thanks everyone! I found out that B staat voor Beschut, Beschermd of Begeleid wonen . I believe that ‘assisted living’ covers all the bases, see website: http://www.extendedcare.com/asp/glossary.asp#assisted
Thanks Vic.
Thanks Francina, but I don't feel confident enough to be able to tell "ambulante begeleiding" from "begeleidend wonen" in Dutch, let alone in English! To me it all looks like assisted living, but you need something more of an expert on this one :)
begeleid wonen seems to me what means, or is that not the question?

Sheltered accommodation
Explanation: Could also be called Warden controlled accommodation.
If this concerns old or infirm people it could be what is intended.
Google provides hits.

Explanation: From the provided link: "People who are vulnerable or disadvantaged may need support to enable them to access suitable housing and to live independently in their homes and communities.
This may be due to a physical or learning disability, a mental health difficulty, their age or because they have experienced significant problems such as homelessness or domestic violence."
Kennelijk ook in Nederland een begrip, zie de link van het (voormalige) NIZW.
