Medical - Medical: Health Care / Specialties | | Dutch term or phrase: profielarts | This word appears in a list of different medical specialties: bedrijfsarts, verzekeringsarts, **profielarts**, etc.
I do not seem to be able to think about the word in English, too tired and a bit ill, I am afraid.

Naast de arts M&G (vier jaar opleiding, conform Europese standaarden) komen er nu 7 typen profielartsen bij met een opleiding van 2 jaar. De profielartsen zullen in BIG geregistreerd zijn als basisarts (wet BIG artikel 3). Daarnaast zullen de profielartsen een aantekening krijgen in een speciaal register dat zal worden bijgehouden door de Sociaal Geneeskundige Registratie Commissie (SGRC). De profielen zijn: jeugdarts; arts infectieziektenbestrijding; arts tuberculosebestrijding; arts medisch milieukundige, etc.
