Dutch to English translations [PRO] Medical - Medical (general) | | Dutch term or phrase: en een niet-ontplooid colon descendens en sigmoid | "Een zonder intraluminaal contrast gemaakte CT-scan van het abdomen toonde diverticulose ter plaatse van het sigmoid, zonder aanwijzingen voor diverticulitis, en een niet-ontplooid colon descendens en sigmoid, waardoor een stricturerende, oppervlakkig groeiende massa niet kon worden uitgesloten."
The context is a constipated patient who developed megacolon while being treated with lactulose. The patient also had ileus and diverticulosis.

Lungs in that same condition are said to be 'unexpanded' so this could perhaps also be the correct term for intestines - they should present themselves expanded inside the abdomen.
