contrasting translucency/opacity Explanation: A bit of a guess. Medisch Woordenboek [Mosterd/Bohn Stafleu Van Loghum] defines 'uitsparing' in a radiologicol sense as 'translucency', which, I believe, is the same as opacity. But I'm no expert by a long shot! |
