Here, the terms "depressed" and indented are also used to describe this type of fracture. But my search indicates that "indented" is used mostly in conjunction with materials fracture...

A skull fracture is a crack in the skull bone. A skull fracture does not require a cast. Most skull fractures are small and linear (straight like a line). Some fractures might require some type of corrective procedure if the skull fracture is ** depressed (indented) ** and pushing onto the brain. Although depressed skull fractures require special care,
