In addition to Mr. Den Haan's explanation I believe the "folding" or "crimping"would be appropriate to describe the process used to create such a seal, but this SPC of December 2007 mentions felskap (never heard of the term before); the same UK SPC describes it as "aluminum seal" with a plastic flip-off cap. If one visualizes a vial in which a needle must be insterted, with a rubber stopper in the middle of the aluminum seal folded around the top of the vial, this would make sense. Perhaps this is different for radioactives, but my first search hit brought me to this drug. Good luck!

Asker: Inmiddels zijn ook ouderwetse aluminium melkdoppen de revue gepasseerd. De onderstaande website geeft aan dat er verschillende "afdekkers" zijn die dan met een aluminium felskap afgewerkt worden. Het felsen moet m.i. in de vertaling benadrukt worden. Op dit moment hou ik het bij crimp cap, maar dat wil natuurlijk niet zeggen dat ik jullie beider bijdragen niet waardeer! Alvast / nog steeds bedankt.
