Any idea what "duikende componenten" might mean. Here's some context: Er is geen focale schildklierphathologie thv rechter noch linker lob aantoonbaar. Geen duikende componenten.

Explanation:
Ik weet nog niet hoe je het zou moeten vertalen, maar ik kwam de term 'duikende goiter' tegen op onderstaande (Vlaamse) website.

"Bij zeer grote goiters kunnen slikstoornissen en ademhalings-moeilijkheden optreden, indien de onderkant van de lobben in de borstkas zijn uitgegroeid (duikende goiter)."

Misschien heb je hier iets aan.

Blijkbaar wordt het toch ook in het NL gebruikt. Op een site met medische terminologie voor juristen kwam ik dit nog tegen:

"Indien het kropgezwel zich laag uitbreidt en achter het borstbeen afdaalt in de thoraxholte of borstholte spreken we van een duikende goiter of kropgezwel."
