Dutch term or phrase: N.V.E.
Very little context; appears in a Belgian list of NACE codes in the following context:

TUINBOUW N.V.E.

For what it's worth, the equivalent French entry is 'Horticulture N.D.A.', and the Dutch entries in the list appear to have been translated from the French entries.

I don't know what NVE stands for but the (Canadian) reference gives NDA in French version and NES in english version. With Google define:NES gives the meaning above which seems to make sense.

neutral  Titia Meesters: Maybe right, the ref site states that in Belgium the NVE represents the general interests of the whole agriculture and horticulture sector in Belgium.

agree  FionaT: NDA = non dénommé ailleurs,so maybe NVE is just a literal translation (too literal): "niet vermeld elders" (instead of niet elders vemeld), in which case you're right about the English.

-> May all be right, but after all I think that Lotte is right (see my comment there). I would ask confirmation from the client since both options are possible here
