Dutch term or phrase: dieptrek
I've come across the term "thermoforming" but can't track down definitions to know for sure whether it's the same as "dieptrek". Any help welcome! X is a company that produces veal.

Explanation:
Thermoforming is thermovormen.

I think Ballistic has put me on the right track. Thermoforming definitely seems to be the name of the process involved, but "blister", being a type of packaging, seems to fit into the list better. Found this definition of thermoforming: "A process of forming thermoplastic sheet which consists of heating the sheet and forcing it into or over a mold by vacuum or mechanical or air pressure. Used to produce blisters, skin packs and thin-wall containers or components." Tried to double-check with the client, but that only served to alert them to the fact that I'd been given the wrong text to translate!! :-( So although Kate came up with thermoforming, points go to Ballistic as I think in the context some linear thinking was needed. One of the links he gives also mentions the phrase "thermoformed blister packs". Thanks, everyone.

thermoforming

Explanation:
If you look at the geertsmetaalwaren site it shows dieptrek technique in an animation. This seems to be the same sort of technique as the description below from http://www.plasticsmag.com/thermoforming.asp?fIssue=Sep/Oct-...
THERMOFORMING: Techniques - Part I
The basics of thermoforming are simple – heat a sheet of plastic until it will easily stretch, and then pull or push the plastic into or over a mold. Allow the plastic to cool and then remove a plastic copy of your mold. Thermoforming can be been done with a home oven and simple wood molds. A toy vacuum former is available that can be used by children to form cars and planes and other shapes. If only it was that simple to thermoform parts for profit.

seems to be an option too, and not only for "metaalbewerking", as indicated in the Kluwer GPW > see web references
