to be out of sorts, not at ease with oneself Explanation: Both of the above describe a psychological state, whilst being out of sorts can mean feeling physically unwell too. "Beside oneself" is not right, I think.. One is usually beside oneself WITH ANGER, or DESPAIR - emotions more violent than just being "happy in one's skin"... |
