'unrushing'

Explanation:
Hi,

This is not striclty speaking a Dutch word but an invention and I think you should do the same in English.

I think the person means that he hopes everybody will relax and not rush around as they normally do.

Good luck!

unhurry/unhurrying

Explanation:
'unrushing' would of course not be wrong, but I prefer 'unhurry' as opposed to 'hurry' (haasten).

Check the following websites:
www.ddh.nl/nwd/1999/netherlands2811.html
www.ddh.nl/nwd/1999/netherlands3011.html

for an example
of 'onthaasten/onthaasting' in English:

'The Unhurry Couch' (it actually reads 'the unhurry couche' - sic) (the Slow Down Couch)

or enter 'unhurry' at www.metacrawler.com for more references

XX wishes everybody a splendid period of 'unhurry'/splendid 'unhurry' period/ splendid 'unhurry/ing' times etc

peaceful/relaxed time: of course

Explanation:
but XX obviously wants to use the real hype word 'onthaasting' - you find it in half of the newspaper articles these days; hence I wouldn't translate it by 'peaceful,...'

Whatever :-)
