Dutch term or phrase: hoog in het vandaal staan
XYZ ziet zichzelf graag als een familiebedrijf, waar loyaliteit aan klanten en aan leveranciers hoog in het vandaal staat.

to set great store by
Explanation:
I always find translations like 'be of utmost/paramount importance' etc. to be rather tame, verging on the wooden. More natural in English IMO is 'to set great store by', e.g. 'we are a family-run business and set great store by customer and supplier loyalty'.

-> "As a typical family-run South Tyrolean business, we set great store by personal service and hospitality."

consider of paramount importance

Explanation:
Dit is een typfout; er wordt bedoeld "hoog in het VAANDEL staan".

Dit staat gewoon in de Van Dale: "feel very strongly about something" / "consider something of
paramount importance ".
