Campaign referred to is the 2001 government campaign 'Werken bij het Rijk. Als je verder denkt.' Research has turned up this: "De campagne 'Werken bij het Rijk. Als je verder denkt' is de overkoepelende imagocampagne van alle rijksorganisaties, met als doel het merk Rijk bekendheid geven op de arbeidsmarkt en het imago van het Rijk als werkgever te verbeteren."
In de campagne wordt het Rijk bewust neergezet op een corporate manier, zoals ook grote ondernemingen doen. **Hierdoor is de communicatie zelfbewust; bovendien straalt deze** trots uit. Er is gekozen voor de merknaam 'Het Rijk' en niet voor bijvoorbeeld rijksoverheid or rijksdienst.
