I checked with the client, as I felt granulieten (granulites) was the more likely option, but it was confirmed as granulaten. So granulates it is.

After reading Kate\'s answer, I must admit that it makes a lot more sense to assume that \'granulaten\' should read \'granuliet\'. In that case, granulites would be the correct translation.
