Having looked at the images of the boat for which you are doing the translation I believe it has an overhanging gunnel.
This makes the boat look wider. Aluminum bass boats: Lowe vs. Tracker ...
Some other brands have an overhanging gunnel that gives the impression of a wider beam than the boat really has. A Lowe also has a wider bottom width than most of thei competitors.
