Heel wat psychologische management modellen gaan uit van de (karakteriële) verschillen tussen mensen. Ze hebben succes, omdat ze zeer voorspellend zijn. Ze voorspellen de kleuring van het gedrag van mensen. Deze kleuring van het gedrag van elke mens zit ingekapseld in het lymbische-, motorische- en emotionele systeem dat zorgt voor de levensfuncties, de overlevingsdrang en de emoties.

I would be inclined to change it around to say "they predict how people's behaviour is coloured as in this quote from "Personality and Performance: Foundations for Managerial Psychology - Google Books Result

How one evaluates people's behaviour is coloured by one's assumptions as to why it occurs. Of course, one can perceive echoes of an explanation of sorts ...

The usual sort of sentence regarding colouring behaviour relates to our perception of things, which colours our behaviour.
