Builders/surveyors tend to refer to pointing (as in re-pointing, meaning replacing the mortar between bricks where settlement has occurred). I found various mentions of the word 'middenrisaliet' on the web, but no English translation. Once you see the pictures, maybe you will be able to paraphrase what it is.
