Whether they are suitable, I don't know. Actually, machine-cutting operations might also do, I suppose. |

high speed [type of machining], Explanation: Strange enough the English language does not have any expression that exactly corresponds to "verspanende bewerkingen" (but each single Germanic language does). Most dictionaries proffer solutions like "machining by detachment of cuttings", which sounds very clumsy and would never be used by a native English speaker. As a good translator you should write "high speed [type of machining], where you must determine from the context, or by asking your customer, what the type of machining is. It could be milling, turning, drilling, cutting, planing, etc. No, there is nothing called "turn-milling". |
