ADSL Pay-per-minute and ADSL Starterspack Explanation: Tijdsurfen is "pay per minute", you get an ADSL (broadband) connection but you only pay per second/minute, so only the time you're actually connected. Instapsurfen is a starterpack, you get an ADSL (broadband) connection at a very low price, but with limitations on (for example) upload or download volume. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 hrs 36 mins (2005-10-05 12:46:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- both "Tijdsurfen" and "Instapsurfen" are typical Dutch terminology (ie, "dialect" from the Netherlands). These are "marketing" words, not "real" dutch... :) Reference: http://www.umantec.nl/adsl/ |

time-based ADSL Explanation: The generic name for "ADSL Tijdsurfen" is "time-based ADSL". For "Instapsurfen", you could go for something like "budget ADSL" or "ADSL lite". |
