Dutch term or phrase: mouwknip
I am currently translating protective clothing specifications (for the Emergency Services), and am struggling with the above term (Google search produced no hits).

There is very little context unfortunately:

"LUSSENBAND STROOK OP LINKERMOUW - Een strookje van 50 x 28 mm (Lx B) dient in het verticale midden tussen mouwkop en mouwzoom en recht onder de mouwknip te worden gepositioneerd."

All suggestions welcome - KudoZ points will be awarded within 72 hours.

Many thanks,

Anne

armscye
Explanation:
If this is about the mouwknip:
Armscye is the name for the armhole of a garment where the sleeve can be set in. The way I would see this would be that the loop would attached on the underside of the sleeve, horizontally alligned under the middle part of the bottom part of the armhole, and vertically alligned according to the centre point between shoulder and cuff on the top side of the sleeve - but attached to the underside of the sleeve.

Explanation:
Hi there,
As far as I know, it is the clasp at the end of the sleeve.
Hope this is of any help.
