This sentence does not really make sense to me. It says "the vertical blinds for the meeting room may be/consist of one piece." Are they for a window, door, whole glass wall...? Maybe they refer to the top rail being one piece?

In Holland you can get blinds made to size and this cab be either very short of very long so yes, they could be very long depending on the size of the area to be hidden by them.
