The cloth is not straight.

Explanation:
You present the fabic to the stenter. A stenter is a m/c that "sets"the fabric. It must be properly presented at the beginning before the m/c starts. Set the tensions up at the front. The tension is set in the weft.

slanted is then the word. Scheef = skew
If it said boog inslag I would have said curved.
Hope this helps. Fact is that they made a mistake and were not cautious before starting the stenter.

If the fabric is badly presented, because it was bady cut off before attaching it to the m/c then if the tensions are not properly set the fabric sill slant to one side. Curved would more indicate that there is a problem with the m/c itself, i.e the tensions in the warp would be wrong.

Notes to answerer
Asker: THank you. But that is not what I wanted to know. I have to inform a supplier that a curved or slanted??? weft in the fabric is not acceptable. We have a margin of max. 2%.

Asker: Thank you. Both skew and curved are the right words I think in this context . It's for the agreement on specifications, so it has not happened yet. It's to avoid problems in the future.

asymmetrical weft

Explanation:
this is one definition option; depends on the context, though.
