Verwijder de zes 3/4"-10 UNC bouten waarmee het U-flensjuk aan de koppelreductor is bevestigd. Draai de U-verbinding vrij.

Verwijder de acht 1/2" -13 UNC inbusbouten (3-8) waarmee de koppelreductor aan de starre naaf (3-4) is bevestigd.

Leg de koppelreductor op de werkbank voor verdere demontage. Verwijder de twee veiligheidselementen (3-6). Zie "Verwijdering Veiligheidselementen van Koppelreductor".
