Each hour, as per USA regulations, I tested my blood sugar and was pleased to see good overall control while eating small sandwiches and cereal bars during the journey, and also drinking sufficient liquid to keep hydrated (a “Little John” pee bottle was very useful!).

Voor zover ik heb kunnen nagaan, bestaat er geen drankje dat "Little John" heet. Het enige recipiënt dat ik heb kunnen vinden, is de "Littlejohn Vase", een trofee (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Littlejohn_Vase), maar dat is het zeker niet.
Ik denk dat hij gewoon wil zeggen dat hij een draagbaar toilet bij zich heeft in de vorm van een flesje. |

Pour la traduction j'ai peiné, j'ai tourné autour sans vraiment nommer cette chose.... car je n'ai pas trouvé de terme en français dans les délais

ça, j'avais compris, je me demandais juste s'il y avait un jeu de mots avec une boisson.... dont il a utilisé la bouteille vide
