Dutch term or phrase: boventoon vs grondtoon
Ook bij deze variatiereeks – de ‘Spielstücke’ 12 tot en met 17 – werd vrijwel geheel uitgegaan van het opbouwmodel met steeds hogere registers. Opnieuw vormt de Quintadeen, met zijn sterke tweede harmonische ***boventoon***, het uitgangspunt. In het algemeen wordt bij iedere volgende variatie naast de ***grondtoon*** deze boventoon versterkt, met een rijkdom aan kleur als resultaat.

Pour "grondtoon", j'ai trouvé "son fondamental". Le "boventoon" correspondrait-il donc au "son harmonique". Malheureusement, je ne suis pas sûre.
