Significa 'le è capitato di vedere' (foto di ...), 'le sono state mostrate', 'ha avuto modo di vedere' o altro ? Vorrei sapere qual è il senso più aderente all'espressione olandese, grazie ! |

Come Stefano, anch'io ritengo improbabile che questa persona abbia visto le scene di violenza svolgersi dal vivo davanti ai suoi occhi, ma che gliene abbiano parlato altri che vivono lì, forse impegnati nell'assistenza e negli aiuti a queste bambine. D'altronde, è più che possibile aver veduto invece bambine denutrite, coperte di soli stracci, chiedere l'elemosina o prostituirsi. Cercando in giro tale espressione, in alcuni contesti sembra l'equivalente dell'italiano "capitare sotto gli occhi" o persino "trovarsele davanti agli occhi". |
