nie jest to jednak węgar, po przyjrzeniu się ilustracjom widać że, neggekant to "pionowa część ościeża zewnętrznego", jest to płaszczyzna zwykle prostopadła do ściany zewnętrznej i płaszczyzny okna, często malowana w kolorze futryny, np. na biało. W starych budynkach ze ścianą ceglaną u góry mamy rollagen a po bokach neggekanten. Przy malowaniu futryn od zewnątrz trzeba uważać, aby tych neggekanten nie ubrudzić, czyli tych cegieł przy futrynie. Betimmering neggekanten to zatem deskowanie, obróbka drewniana ościeża zewnętrznego, widziałem coś takiego w starych stolpboerderijen.
