English term or phrase: bird / booty
About Hugh Laurie:

He was a perfect booty, bird, booty, Bertie Worcester alongside Steven Fry’s marvellous Jeeves. Ladies and gentlemen Hugh Laurie.

Selected answer:"bird/booty"
Explanation:
These are both UK slang expressions. Jeeves was Bertie's butler. Bertie was a complete ass. He was a stereotype of a very rich young man during the 20s who had never had to think for himself nor to do anything for himself. Jeeves got him out of impossible predicaments by using common sense. "Bird" and "booty" are words signifying the kind of nitwit Bertie was. (P.G. Wodehouse was the author).

beauty

Explanation:
booty could be beauty.

There was a marketing slogan / advert for (processed) turkey / chicken that went: "It's bootiful"
This may or may not account for the use of bird!

(old) bird can mean - old guy
bird is usually a derogatory way of describing a female (Oi, that's my bird!)

Just a thought!

agree  DGK T-I: Catherine & Jerrie's suggestions make a lot of sense - they could be pretend mispronunciations of Bertie ('birdy') with these all rolled up in them too, maybe
