English term or phrase:spokesorganisation
I'm looking for the equivalent of a spokesperson, when referring to an organization.
My sentence reads:
"We hereby announce the establishment of our regional office in [city], which will be the main [insert word for spokesorganisation] and legal representative of our company in [country]."
Is there such a word? I don't think "mouthpiece" fits here.
Thank you very much, Lucy! I want to try to stay as close as possible to the original meaning though.
So I'm thinking of going for "spokesbody" for which I have found some credible references on the internet. I am going to have to go for it now as I need to submit the translation before going to bed in a few minutes.
I'll keep the question open though - if someone can come up with something better than "spokesbody" they will still get the points!
