English term or phrase: I want you to DMV her.
Hi! I've already asked this question on eng-polish, but there are different opinions, so they suggested that I ask on eng-eng. I'm translating a movie. A woman is murdered. Chief of police says to the detectives: "I want you to DMV (D.M.V.) her". They have her identity, they know who she is. So why DMV her?
