English term or phrase: the art world’s niche perspective
It is all one thing really. It is the multiple. Bob and all those earlier artists suffered from the art world’s niche perspective and they still do a bit––but it is changing. It is the future, really, and I think everyone knows that. A unified persona working in one medium is a construction. A unified persona is just not truth, and it’s certainly not to youth culture, which to me is more honest than the art world.

English translation:a specific outlook, a narrow, exclusive view
Explanation:
In the art world, trends, and popularity of specific types of art, or even an attitude with respect to the current 'IN' artists or designers is often created by galleries and critics who profess to 'know' or to be able to predict the success of an artist or designer...it is often a narrow and exclusive view.
