English term or phrase: No stick-on hooks or tape may be applied to walls or furnishings.
Is this saying that stick-on hooks or tape cannot be applied to walls? Or are those the only kind that is allowed?
OR is it the opposite?
OR... maybe... is this too ambiguous?

I think it is a NO-NO because is a list of banned actions. But I’d love to hear the opinion of those whose Englsih is number one, THANK YOU!!

agree  Gary D: The walls will be gyprock and if you stick something on them when you pull it back off you will pull the outer layer of the gyprock off, therefore the wall will need replastering. don't do it!
