English to English translations [PRO]
Tech/Engineering - Electronics / Elect Eng / Railways/Overhead Contact Lines
English term or phrase: equalizing connections/equipotential bonding
Messenger Wire - Contact Wire equalizing connection:

"The distribution of current is allowed between messenger wire and the contact wire by a Cu 70 mm2 wire."

I suspect that by "equalizing connections" the author means "equipotential bonds" or something similar.

Do they mean the same?
