Explanation: Elena, it DOES basically mean 'an output with a switch', but NOT as you suggest 'without a relay, transistor etc.' --- your given context specifically states that this output is being switched by a 'solid-state switch' (i.e. transistor device) No, the term 'switched output' simply means in the most general way possible, an output that is turned on or off in some way, rather than being continuously on all the time. So it wouldn't be 'uscita a contatti', but more likely 'uscita interrutti' --- sorry, Italian's not my language! |
