Marketing - General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters / is the ing form correct here?
English term or phrase: Together, we are committed *to providing* our customers a ...
Dear Colleagues English native,
I am translating a text into Italian, I have just found the sentence pasted above, which to my "non native" ear does not sound correct, but of course I can be wrong.
The "ing " for does not sound correct to me here because of the "To" but this a text of press release, so it is highly possible that I am wrong.
This is not essential for my translation but I would like to know if I am wrong or not, can someone kindly tell me if this sentence is correct and if yes why?

Thanks a lot in advance :=)
