Probably not: 'security clearance' certificate Explanation: Process of elimination :-) OED: 2.official authorization for something to proceed or take place (also security clearance) official permission for someone to have access to classified information Since it is the company that should give the security clearance, I doubt that employee should provide the certificate. |

This is it... in Canada Explanation: Clearance Certificates Are you a contractor? A clearance certificate is a document issued free of charge by the WSIB [Work Place Safety and Insurance Board]. It declares that you: are registered with the WSIB, and have an account in good standing. A clearance certificate clears the person hiring you of financial liability and ensures they won't be held responsible for your WSIB payments. All clearance certificates are valid for 60 days. Requests for new clearance certificates should be made one week before the expiry date of the current certificate to ensure continuous protection. Are you hiring a contractor? A clearance certificate is a document issued free of charge by the WSIB. It assures you that a business, contractor or subcontractor: is registered with the WSIB, and has an account in good standing. More importantly, it clears you of financial liability and ensures you won't be held responsible for someone else's WSIB payments.
