English term or phrase: plunging to full radius
milling tools

these are the features of a "roughing ball nose" (end mil)

"• Increased feeds and speeds possible
due to helical insert design and rigid
fixation system.
• Capable of plunging to full radius.
• Double edge insert is indexable for
reduced inventory."

...I've seen that full radius is a type of head (full radius, corner radius...), but here it seems to be something else, does it mean insert the tool in the piece through the full radius???

English translation:plunging to full radius
Explanation:
Elena, I'm no expert here, but I think you'll find it probably means that NOT ONLY is this tool capable of producing a round-bottomed hole (= full radius), BUT ALSO it is capable of boring into the material to do so (= plunging).

I suspect that normally you have to drill a hole of the appropriate diameter (or slightly smaller), and then in a second operation insert the full-radius tool to shape the bottom of the hole. A tool that is capable of producing a neat, round-bottomed hole might not always be suitable for removing the large amounts of material needed to bore the basic hole in the first place...
