and IMHO it is not essential to use any alternative wording; that would be largely a matter of style, and a question of whether the alternative wording is compatible with the remainder of the text. If the sentence ends there, another option will be better
Context is missing here, Filip; you should really tell us what follows, as if it defines WHERE the study is discussed, then Erich is undoubtedly correct, as an ENS would usually never place the "discussed" in front of the "study" in the phrase you give us
