English to English translations [PRO] / driver`s licence
English term or phrase:"spects" on United Arab Emirates driving licence
is here anyone with a UAE driving licence who also speaks Arabian?
I am wondering about the acronym "spects" on the bottom right corner on the back of the licence. Does it stand for specifications or rather spectacles (usual abbreviation for this is "specs", though)?
What does the Arabian text say? Is it more specific?
If you would kindly fax (or e-mail, if the document has been scanned) that UAE driver's license to me at +001.310.832.1037, I can clarify that term and translate the Arabic text for you. Should be simple
No charge; glad to do this as a (ganz kostenlos) professional courtesy (plus I am curious to see if the layout of a UAE driver's license is changed from what I saw when I was in UAE for several months a few years ago).
Immer fertig... Tschuss.

Thanks for the scanned document.
That abbreviation of "spect." = spectacles and refers to "prescription eyeglasses." The Arabic term appears to the right of that English abbreviation, next to the star in the lower right-hand corner.
Re the other terms shown on that license: the English terms on the left have matching Arabic terms on the right.
