Up-to-date awareness of important issues at the company level Explanation: It is not only item 2 that is lacking clarity and coherence, but the list as such. The title "communication process" is rather vague, and the items listed underneath do not cohere very well. For instance, item 1 deals with one of the characteristics of good communication practice expected of employees or members of any organization. It does not describe the "process," but only indicates a criterion of good performance in the area of communication. At performance evaluation time, this item could very well be used to assess the employees communication skills. Item 2, on the other hand, could be construed to mean two things: a. The outcome of good communication within a company; or b. An asset to good communication, i.e., an attribute that helps an employee accomplish good communication. I have replaced "updated" with "up-to-date." When a person has been updated, he or she becomes up-to-date. I have also replaced "subjects" with "issues." You can also use "topics" or "matters." I have deleted "actual" (superfluous) and re-arranged the words. I hope that I have not over-doctored this sentence. FUad |
