English term or phrase: stood at the end beaming
The fat lady – Madam Papaconstante –, who’s the owner of a café, apparently has a profitable customer who “stepped to the bar and ordered a gin. Madam Papaconstante followed with difficulty and stood at the end beaming, her fleshy hands spread out flat on the bar...”

Do I have to take this as her standing at the end of the bar with a red/shiny/blushed or joyful face, or just perhaps of her standing at the other end of the bar, or something else?
